Support the Mission
OWGER is in the pre-formation stage. Charitable contributions are currently managed through our fiscal sponsor:
Transitions to Organics
501(c)(3) nonprofit — Ojai, California (Ventura County)
Contributions to Transitions to Organics earmarked for OWGER are tax-deductible. Donors receive a tax receipt from Transitions to Organics.
To donate: Contact us at 805-203-2224 or info@owger.org and we will provide complete instructions for making a contribution through Transitions to Organics.
OWGER offers "Founding Pillar" sponsorship tiers for regional financial institutions and corporations that share our mission. Founding Pillar partners receive recognition in all OWGER materials, priority briefings with the founding team, and early visibility as OWGER scales to the national stage.
Contact Scott Miller at 805-203-2224 to discuss partnership terms.
Join the Mission
OWGER is in the moment when the right people define what the organization becomes. We are actively recruiting for three categories of founding-team involvement.
We are seeking an equity co-founder with executive leadership experience in healthcare, nonprofit management, or healthcare-adjacent business. Sweat-equity basis with meaningful ownership stake. You will build the operational infrastructure that turns the founding team's science and relationships into a functioning organization.
What you bring: Healthcare operations or nonprofit executive experience, financial management, team-building, and a genuine conviction that the homelessness crisis has a neurological solution.
We need a licensed clinical professional (MD, DO, Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker) to serve as clinical director for the Phase 1 CSU pilot. This role is essential for California DHCS licensure and for credibility with county behavioral health agencies and federal grant reviewers.
What you bring: California licensure in a relevant clinical discipline, interest in TBI and neurological recovery, and openness to an evidence-based protocol approach.
We are in discussions with a proposed legal counsel candidate — a healthcare attorney and CPA with dual JD/CPA credentials — regarding formal involvement with OWGER. The role will govern regulatory compliance, entity structure, and fiduciary accountability as the organization prepares for its first county contracts and grant applications.
Requirements: California-licensed healthcare attorney with corporate finance background. Non-pharmacological and complementary health experience a plus.
To discuss any of these opportunities, contact Scott Miller directly.
